Tengo Ganas de escribir algo en mi blog

ESPAÑOL
Hace más de un mes que no escribo en mi blog. Llego de noche a ver si puedo escribir algo, pero ni así lo puedo hacer, pues ya es muy tarde y solo de pensar en el tiempo que me llevara...:El día ha sido largo y cansado.
Hasta ahora no he podido hacer mi estudio sobre los diferentes Jesuses que salen en Procesiones durante la Semana Santa, o los otros artículos que había prometido como el de la gran diferencia entre las andas de un año y el otro: las fotos las tengo grabadas en diferentes CD´s sin ningún orden. ¡Dura lección para un desordenado como yo!
Pero mi interés sigue aún muy fuerte.
Durante las dos ultimas semanas he estado viajando casi tres veces por semana a la Antigua Guatemala, y mi interés, antes moderado, ahora es muy grande por la arquitectura, especialmente en la decoración de sus fachadas, por el metodo conocido como
Ataurique, que son aplicaciones de mezcla que me impresionan por la calidad de mano de obra que contienen. Me he prometido que en cada viaje exploraré alguna de las muchas iglesias o conventos y traeré fotos y detalles.
Tambien le pondré mucha atención al libro de Verle Annis "Arquitectura de Antigua Guatemala" que es un libro increíble, publicado en los 60´s que es el estudio más completo sobre la arquitectura de las ruinas. Tiene fantásticas fotos de la era pre turistica, y la documentación de muchos de los más importantes monumentos. Los estudios de Verle Annis comenzaron en los 30´s.

It´s been more than a moth since I wrote the last time in my blog, every day I try to access my blog but when I come to think of it, it´s too late at night again and I´m feeling sleepy from all the long ours working...
So far I haven´t been able to research on the different figures of Jesus that come out in processions on the Holy Week or the other articles I want to write about: the big difference between the floats from year to year, for the photos of years past are all in CD roms that I´ve made without any order... This has been a good lesson on why you have to be tidy.
But my interest is still there.
During the last two weeks I´ve been traveling to Antigua Guatemala almost three times a week, and I have grown more and more interested in Antigua´s architecture, specially in the kind of decoration know as "Ataurique" whis is a method for decorating facades with plaster. I am amazed at the detail and the fine workmanship that still show. In fact I have promised miself that everytime I go to Antigua, I will explore one of the different churches and convents, bringing back photos and details.
I will also put a lot of attention to Verle Annis's Book on Antigua Guatemala, which is the most complete work of the ancient architecture of the city, with wonderfull photos of the streets and ruins from before the touristic era.
Verle Annis´s book was published in the 1960´s, but his studies and love for Anrtigua date back from the 1930´s.
